Moments

Yesterday
Me: Trying to make dinner fun, I swim 2 "goldfish" through the air toward each other for a "kiss" before eating them.
Sweetie: "Awwww, cute." If I didn't know toddlers are developmentally incapable of it, I would have thought there was a note of sarcasm in her voice.

This morning
Sweetie: Running out of her bedroom toward me babbling, almost fully dressed, looking very much like a Who.
Me: "Where are your socks? You forgot your socks!"
Sweetie: *Sigh* of the annoyed variety, complete with head thrown back and shoulders slumped, turns around and goes back to get said socks.
